Substrata is a community-powered travel app built for the culturally curious. It ditches algorithms and mainstream itineraries for real stories, strange places, and raw discoveries, shared by people who prefer back entrances over front doors. Whether it’s a live DJ set tucked into an abandoned warehouse, an invite-only supper club with no signa, or a forgotten ruin hike whispered about in passing. Substrata isn’t just about where to go, it’s how to move through a city: slowly, instinctively, with your mind wide open.

My approach was to build something raw, lived-in, and constantly evolving. The design avoids trends and instead embraces an underground visual language, gritty but intuitive, modular but personal. Substrata reflects a different kind of travel culture: decentralized, dynamic, and deeply human.
